A book based around the whereabouts of Carlos Tevez is set to be published for the first time this Christmas as retailers look to cash in on the mysterious locations of the Manchester City forward. The publication will feature 20 different crowded venues including street markets in Brazil, a bustling airport in Milan and a casino in Monte Carlo and the reader will be invited to find the camouflaged Carlos in each and every location.’
Editor of the series Roberto Mancini claimed ‘the book will cost you around £250,000 a week and will challenge you to spend lots of your time locating Carlos. Page 12 is certainly an interesting one as it refuses to give you instructions about the challenge when asked. The overall concept is that you never actually find Carlos but instead you just continue to pay for the privilege.
This is not the first time such a franchise has been launched around a football player. Earlier this year a book was launched to find the whereabouts of former Blackburn Rovers striker El Hadji Diouf but was soon removed from shelves when it became apparent that nobody wanted to find him.
